Statement

For me, artistic expression is an endless journey of capturing the countless emotions encountered along life’s path and etching them into the archive of my memory. When facing an ever-changing world, various “alter-egos” or inner presence emerge from within me. The accumulation of dialogue with them—at times unsettling, at times encouraging—forms the very foundation of my identity.

In recent years, I have transitioned my practice from the digitalart into three-dimensional sculpture using oven-bake clay. I chose this medium because it allows me to directly materialize surging impulses and fleeting realizations, maintaining the raw temperature of my hands. I shape the clay in a single, intense burst of intuition and solidify it using a domestic oven—a symbol of everyday life. Following this immediate process, as if awakening the memories of color cultivated during my years studying oil painting, I apply acrylic paint in numerous translucent layers, giving each piece a highly emotive, painterly skin and depth.

The three-dimensional figures I create are not mere objects; they are autonomous emotional and intellectual entities—the “internal inhabitants” of my psyche and multifaceted reflections of my inner world. Some wear a meditative expression, some carry an unsettling aura, while others gently offer quiet companionship. Yet, when they gather within the same space and resonate with one another, a peculiar vibrance and a mysterious sense of harmony arise. Witnessing this precise moment, where distinct and disparate emotions coexist to form a unique cosmology, is the driving force of my creation, and perhaps, the very form of peace we seek in the contemporary world.
